# C-Suite ESG Priorities for 2026: Asia-Pacific Perspectives

The Conference Board's C-Suite Outlook survey finds that APAC executives place significantly greater emphasis on corporate sustainability than their global peers, with ESG now embedded as a strategic — not merely compliance — priority across the region. With ISSB disclosure standards being adopted or actively considered across roughly 40 jurisdictions including Japan and Singapore, SEA boards face a narrowing window to build the board-approved sustainability reporting infrastructure required for both regulatory compliance and investor confidence. This report gives SEA mid-market CEOs a concrete regional benchmark to assess whether their ESG governance maturity and board-level oversight structures are aligned with what investors and regulators in the region will require by 2027.
