# Corporate Governance Review 2025: Is governance growing in the right places?

The firm's 24th edition, published alongside a press release of 27 January 2026, benchmarking 267 data points per firm from 216 FTSE 350 annual reports for the 2025 reporting year, of which 89 were FTSE 100 and 127 FTSE 250; the press release also states that available reports fell to 215 from 253, so the source prints 216 and 215 in the same paragraph. One board skill area has increased and the rest have declined, and "only 12% of companies authentically demonstrate how evaluation outcomes are acted upon".
