# GCC BDI Celebrates 15 Years of Excellence in Promoting Corporate Governance and Board Effectiveness in the Gulf Region

The GCC Board Directors Institute marked 15 years of raising board effectiveness, diversity, and leadership standards across the Gulf, having supported over 2,600 directors through workshops on board evaluation and governance. It signals the maturing emerging-market governance ecosystem relevant to mid-market boards expanding into or benchmarking against the GCC.
