# How AI Is Changing the Role of Directors in the Boardroom

The World Economic Forum and Board Intelligence argue AI is transforming how boards govern by reshaping the data directors receive, the decisions they oversee, and decisions the technology makes on the company's behalf. Boards that build AI literacy while investing in human capabilities AI cannot replicate will be best positioned to lead.
