# PwC's 2025 Responsible AI survey: From policy to practice

PwC (Aug 15, 2025) "2025 Responsible AI survey: From policy to practice" reports executives moving from principles to operationalisation. 58% of executives say Responsible AI initiatives enhance ROI and organisational efficiency; 55% say RAI strengthens customer experience and drives innovation; 51% point to improved cybersecurity and data protection. On maturity, 61% report being at the strategic (28%) or embedded (33%) stage, 21% in training and 18% in the early stages. 50% cite turning RAI principles into practice — scaling and automating governance, clarifying roles, aligning leadership — as the biggest hurdle. 56% say first-line teams (IT, engineering, data, AI) now lead RAI efforts. Useful trajectory for SEA mid-market boards rolling out AI policies.
