# Revised Framework for Single Family Offices to take effect on 15 June 2026

Published 11 June 2026 with a body dateline of 12 June 2026. The framework is "structure-agnostic, thereby facilitating a straight through class exemption from licensing for all qualifying SFOs operating in Singapore", replacing case-by-case exemption; qualifying single family offices need only notify MAS, maintain an account with a MAS-licensed bank and file an annual return giving total assets under management and the name of the bank. Existing single family offices have a one-year transition to 15 June 2027, and the release follows the public consultation whose policy responses were published in November 2024.
