# Strategy Summit 2026: Who's Going to Succeed with AI?

HBR IdeaCast (2 Apr 2026) from Strategy Summit 2026 features Andrew McAfee, principal research scientist at MIT and cofounder/codirector of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy at MIT Sloan, on which organisations will succeed with AI. McAfee names a widening gap between the best and the rest, anchored in what he calls 'geek organisations' — those building cultures that genuinely match AI's velocity. He warns that cutting entry-level hiring because of AI could be a major long-term mistake, and frames the present as a moment where 'nobody knows anything' about AI's eventual reshape of business — yet leaders must act under that uncertainty rather than wait it out.
