# The Future of Board Governance Framework

Deloitte Center for Board Effectiveness (Dec 13, 2024) "The Future of Board Governance Framework" updates the Deloitte Governance Framework — established over 20 years ago — as the basis for board-assessment tools and effective composition/structure work. The framework's core: governance infrastructure (the aggregation of governance operating models — people, processes, technologies — used to govern day-to-day activities and report to the board and external stakeholders); oversight of risk and culture, with Risk Intelligence at the centre.
