# What are your leadership blind spots?

Fast Company (Sep 2025) "What are your leadership blind spots?" frames blind spots not as flaws of character or competence but as the unseen gaps between intention and impact — typically only noticed when something goes wrong (a team misfires, communication breaks down, feedback loops fall silent). Common forms surfaced: overemphasis on results at the expense of relationships; aversion to conflict that stifles honest feedback; and a tendency to micromanage under stress. The article positions personality-diversity awareness as the lens for understanding and managing these gaps before they undermine effectiveness. Useful coaching tool for SEA mid-market boards developing CEO and director self-awareness practices.
