Headline insights: 66% of respondents cite open, transparent board-C-suite communication as the number-one leadership factor for resilience; 86% say boards have increased activity monitoring risks and overseeing growth strategies (39% significantly); short-term 2025 priorities are geopolitical and economic volatility (55%), security and cybersecurity (50%) and rapid technological advancement and digital disruption (42%). For SEA mid-market boards, this is the strongest available evidence linking communication cadence to resilience.
