Pulse Survey: CEOs 100 days in: What's next for business

PwC (Aug 8, 2025) "Pulse Survey: CEOs 100 days in: What's next for business" surveyed 678 US executives May 1-8, 2025 (including 7% CEOs) across industrial products, consumer markets, financial services, technology/media/telecom, health, energy/utilities and other industries. CEO findings: 58% are talking to other executives and encouraging internal debate to keep up with fast-changing trade policies; 50% are bringing in external advisors to challenge their thinking; 94% report executive consensus on long-term growth plans; 42% cite resource constraints as a top-three barrier; 60% expect today's policy and financial-market volatility to ease within 12 months — more optimistic than executives overall at 48%. Useful US-CEO snapshot for SEA mid-market boards.
