SID's new guide helps boards assess the value and risks of AI

The Singapore Institute of Directors, with OpenAI, Microsoft and IMDA, launched a 116-page guide giving directors a framework and questions to pursue AI returns while overseeing strategic, operational and governance risks. It translates Singapore's National AI Strategy 2.0 into board-level actions, directly addressing the knowledge gap as only half of APAC leaders feel confident managing AI. For SEA boards, this is a practical, immediately usable tool to close the gap between AI adoption and disciplined oversight.
