Key data: 73% of boards say they are collaborating more with the C-suite on strategy development and scenario planning, with nearly three-quarters spending more time on those priorities in 2025; while 82% of respondents have the financial resources they need, only 63% say the same for technology resources and 64% for human capital — a near-20-percentage-point gap; and two of the top five longer-term priorities for 2026 and beyond are tech-related, ranking 10 ppt higher than human capital.
